Hudson Square Redesign

The Business Improvement District based around New York’s Hudson Square selected the team led by Mathews Nielsen Landscape Architects to transform the public realm and streetscape in the neighbourhood in November 2010. Billings Jackson provided industrial design. The resulting Streetscape Improvement Plan implements five distinct initiatives over five years to improve traffic flow, create open spaces, green the streets and promote a pedestrian culture.
