King's Fund Chair

This concept chair is designed to improve patient comfort by reducing the amount of time it is necessary to spend in bed. It flattens out to become a trolley at the same height as a standard hospital bed, enabling patient transfer via pat-slide, which is more dignified than the hoist that might otherwise be needed.
