Tecton Continuous Row Lighting

Zumtobel's brief was to design a high volume, low cost, adaptable product suitable for use in a wide variety of environments, to take advantage of the new T16 fluorescent lamp technology. The design evolved as an aesthetically clean and flexible system based on innovative ‘11-pole’ circuitry, which can accommodate all electronically controlled lighting solutions without the need for additional wiring. Despite this complexity, it is a snap-together system, requiring no tools to assemble on site. Tecton became Zumtobel's number-one selling product for more than a decade and an LED version was launched in 2010.
